 James Daytona grew up in the inner city of Indianapolis, Indiana. As a teenager he began involving himself in gang violence, drug distribution and smoking marijuana. While in High School James gave his heart to the Lord and started praying and spending time reading the bible in his bedroom after school. The Lord began calling James into the music ministry while in High School which lead to two first place talent show trophies sophomore and junior year. Fast forward a few years, James has travelled the country, preached the gospel, won souls, got married, started a family and have released mixtapes and albums for fans. James Daytona's future desire is to spread the conviction of the gospel so that young BELIEVERS get saved and live born again lives.

Originally from ZAMBIA, currently Residing in AUSTRALIA. The song "I LOVE YOU" was given to me as an inspiration from the Holy Spirit, the song came to me during my trial time. There are times in life when we feel like we have not given more of us to God and what he wants to do with us, l was at this point of time in life when the song came to my Spirit, it's like there's a conflict between the flesh and the Spirit (Holy Spirit), at this point of time, l was in denial feeling like I had failed God in many things by not following his will, direction and his commands, like the bible says "I was lost in my transgressions."
