Melissa Wade was born and raised in South Carolina. She is married to Min. Jabari Wade, a they have been blessed with 3 beautiful children Jabari, Jayion, Jelissa Wade and goddaughter Charity George. Being the Pastor's daughter and raised in the Church, Melissa has always enjoyed singing, and this led her to  directing youth and adult choirs by the age of 15.  Throughout her life, she has written poems, and this has translated to writing music as well. Her first song written and produced in for a artist was "Without Love" in 2015. She is also the founder of Keep Love Alive, a successful event that represents true love among all humankind. Her latest song written and produced in 2021 is called The Chosen One.
