Jermia Paulyn Cannon, born in Dallas, TX and raised in Texarkana, TX has been blessed with a voice that not only captures attention, but the hearts of all those that hear her. Jermia grew up in church and has been singing in church all her life. She has been raised on solid principles of giving and living for God. She was raised in the admonition of holiness and was highly supported by her late father, Bishop Paul Cannon, Jr. and yet being supported by her mother, Pastor Jacquelyn Cannon. She is the oldest of five children. She has three brothers: Jeremy, Paul III, and Jon (deceased) and one sister, Jennifer, whom she loves dearly. Jermia started singing gospel music at a very young age. She has always loved God from a very young age. Maxine was born in Kingston, Jamaica, but grew up in Manchester with her great-grandmother since age 3. Her great-grandmother died when she was 12 years old. She moved in with her mother and step-father until after her freshman year of high school. She then migrated to Miami, Florida, USA to live with her grandmother and near her father. She graduated from Miramar High where she was voted most talented at her senior prom by her peers due to her singing talents. By now, she has grown accustomed to moving and decided to join the military to serve the land she now embraces as home, further her education and professional skills and explore the world through military travels! She deployed to Qatar, Afghanistan and Haiti and entertained troops and dignitaries at all of these locations.  After several years in the military, Maxine transitioned and is now pursuing a career in entertainment.
