K3HLAB Featured In #MusicLov3rz July!

Fresh off of the wave of his Latin-flavoured Hip Hop track, BANDITO last year, K3hlab hit the holy grounds running unashamed and unapologetically sharing his faith through his music. With lyrics such as ‘The devil is coming I call him bandito, I promise he’ll never be your amigo’ where he relates the presence of the enemy to being like that of an outlaw looking for innocent people to destroy.

Often compared to the likes of Kanye West, the Springfield, Illinois rapper and innovative music producer, sets a new pace with his first release of 2021 titled ‘Love Lifted Me’ featuring vocals from Illinois native, Rodderick Lemar, snapping on the hook with a soulful performance where they seamlessly blend Hip Hop and R&B, taking you on a journey of introspection, summer party vibes and reflection all at once.

K3hlab prepares us for the summer with this bright track equipped with a signature bassline that combines both the old skool and new skool with accompanying 808’s and hihat which underpins K3hlab’s diary-like flow. As you listen to the track you can actually see yourself bopping to it whilst at an outside barbecue against a smoking grill, and everyone vibing to it with a juice in their hand. K3hlab continues to stand unashamed with unabashed lyrics on Love Lifted Me like:

Which is so poignant to this generation where so much emphasis is on securing the bag at any means necessary. K3hlab reminds his generation the importance of God’s love and it’s power to lift, heal and re-focus.
