recording artist, songwriter and composer Otis Kemp is taking the
gospel music industry by storm. Otis style is revolutionary, bridging
gospel and Miami Hip Hop culture. From Rick Ross and Flo Rida to legends like Betty White, The Commodores, and Timbaland,
to name a few, Otis has earned a well-respected name for himself in the
music industry. His style incorporates the perfect mixture of soulful
church sounds with the hard-core street music sound of Miami. There’s
simply no one like Otis Kemp in gospel music today.
Standing
at 6 feet and 6 inches, many thought Otis would have pursued
professional athletics, as an NFL or NBA player. But Otis always knew
his heart and his true calling was carved out in music history from the
day he was born.
Outside
of music, Otis is also an entrepreneur. Like many youth growing up,
Otis faced his share of challenges. Otis, who was kicked out of many
schools in South Florida, now owns Appleseeds Performing Arts Academy
in Pompano Beach, FL, about one hour from Miami. He has taken the
challenges he faced as a youth and turned that into a passion for
helping all kids succeed, especially those who are considered at-risk
and underserved.

on all digital outlets. He is currently available for speaking,
performance, interviews & collaboration opportunities.

He is not a victim, but he has experienced life-saving salvation from the inside out. His world has been shaken, but his feet are planted firmly on the strongest of foundations. And even as he faced an abyss of the unknown, he never did so alone. In October 2015, the singer , songwriter, businessman, motivational speaker, father, and husband endured a traumatic brain injury (TBI) that placed his life and future in peril. A fall sent him to the emergency room and ICU with a concussion and closed fracture of the skull base with subarachnoid, subdural, and extradural hemorrhage. The catastrophic injury could have easily ended his life or, at the least, compromised the quality of it. "I absolutely remember nothing from the first month after my injury," he shares. "It's just gone. Once...

He immigrated to the US when he was four (4) years old as a result of his father’s Pastoral post in Brooklyn, New York. Ajahni comes from a musical family where his Grandfathers played the organ and sang in the church choir respectively. Also, his father is a classically trained pianist and organist and his mother sang in the choir. Growing up at home, he was heavily influenced by the classical music his father was constantly playing in the background. He became very familiar with the works of Handel, Grieg, Beethoven, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Bach, Brahms, Schubert, and Mendelssohn. In those formative years, he would also sing in the Sunday School choir, but in a compulsory way that was more the order of the day in the Perrin household. However, in his pre-teens, Ajahni would take violin lessons and play in his middle school orche...
