Hailing from Washington, DC and currently based in Germantown, Maryland, Jamal Ingram, better known as The Wordologist, is an up and coming music producer, songwriter and remixer with a penchant for writing infectious tunes and relatable narratives. Inspired by events in the Bible as well as Gospel artists like The late Minister Thomas Whitfield , the late Walter Hawkins, and the late Andrae Crouch.
The Wordologist’s music journey began in 1998. Drawing inspiration for his music from the Bible, The Wordologist is able to invoke strong emotions in people. This song is actually a remake of the 1986 Sounds of Gospel Record label release of I'm Encouraged by Thomas Whitfield & The Whitfield Company Live at the Civic Center.
I have been a follower of the late great Thomas Whitfield lovingly called "The Maestro". The original version is slow but my version
is a mid tempo bossa nova style which as actually inspired by other songs that was written and produced by Thomas in which he incorporated the genre in some of his songs. The vocalist featured on this track is Lillia "Lily" Kysil from the Ukraine.

Dance of Victory
This song was actually written for the Michael Fletcher Chorale. At the time they were searching for songs for their forthcoming album release.
However, I felt in my heart after reworking the song several times the end result was more of a pop/dance targeted to a global market. I contacted a producer/musician and we created a song that I felt fit the direction of where God has called me and that is to the EDM/Dance market. The vocalist featured on this track is Lillia "Lily" Kysil from the Ukraine.
