Jermia Cannon Featured In #MusicLov3rz March!
Jermia grew up in church and has been singing in church all her life. She has been raised on solid principles of giving and living for God. She was raised in the admonition of holiness and was highly supported by her late father, Bishop Paul Cannon, Jr. and yet being supported by her mother, Pastor Jacquelyn Cannon. She is the oldest of five children. She has three brothers: Jeremy, Paul III, and Jon (deceased) and one sister, Jennifer, whom she loves dearly. Jermia started singing gospel music at a very young age. She has played the drums, the piano, and occasionally plays the organ for her church, Nash Full Gospel Holy Temple, where her mother is the pastor. |

Her ministry has taken her across the United States, as well as overseas. Jermia sings and writes most of her
own songs. She has recorded with the Full Gospel Holy Temple Founder’s Mass Choir projects, “When I Need
Him Most” & “We Win” and released her debut CD “From the Soul” in 2002. With the success of her first
CD, her fans encouraged her to record live. Because she is true to ministry and loyal to the people of God, she
recorded her sophomore project, “It’s My Time Now”, LIVE in the city of Texarkana, TX.
She has recorded with World Renowned Choir Master, Dr. Ricky Dillard and New G, in 2010 on their project,
“Keep Living”, leading the song entitled, “Speak A Word”. On February 22, 2022, of this year, she will
release her new single entitled, "Amazing" which will be available on most digital outlets. She has built a
strong fan base and is making strides swiftly. She carries a humble spirit, and she seeks for the more of God.
Cannon says, “I just want to do God’s will. I’ve learned that if I do not give Him what he requires, then He will take it away." Her favorite scripture is Romans 8:18, “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared to the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
