Pastor David Wright was born on July 14, 1978, the third of five sons to bless the union of Gospel legend Rev. Timothy Wright and Evangelist Betty Wright. In early 1995, this sixteen year old young man began playing the organ with no classical training or conventional lessons, but instead, purely by the anointing of God after a 3-day shut-in and prayer. He played, he prayed and God performed. Since that experience, Pastor David Wright has become an accomplished musician, having worked with the late James Moore, Kim Burrell, Betty Nelson, Ricky Dillard, James Hall, Dorothy Norwood, and many others. His gift has made room for him, allowing him to travel the world as a young adult, and even play before an audience that included Pope John Paul II in 2000.
