Backstory for Foot of the Cross

This song came thru much prayer. I was praying and saw blood streaming down the Cross, but it was love actually. I was at the foot and everywhere the blood touched things changed in my life. No more sickness, no more poverty, no more shame/guilt of past wrongs. The blood erased all of that. The Cross represents an eternal love. I think of the verses

Romans 8:31-32
31 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? 32 Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begin Son that whosoever believes in Him shall have eternal life.

I want folks to take away from this song that when we sit at the Foot of the Cross we make it an altar of sacrifice, and altar of submission. We lay down our troubles and burdens and pick up His love, strength and grace. The blood will never lose its power.
