Mell The Realist is a Christian rapper, singer/song writer and actress who just released her first album "Jonah".  

Who Is Mell The Realist?
Mell The Realist is known as a christian rapper, singer/songwriter. Mell has been featured in a movie soundtrack called "Texas Kill City" created by Harmini. Texas Kill City is a movie bringing awareness about gang life and how that lifestyle can shorten your life or lead you behind bars. Mell The Realist was part of NBC Chicago Med core background, and was also in the show 4400 on CBS.
Mell has faced many trials in her life from her uncle and mothers passing to her marriage separation. Those obstacles and trials really pushed her to pursue her music full time last year 2022! Mell ended 2022 releasing her first album "Jonah" 12/22/22 that has a track called "JESUS" ft. Servin Mike.
Early Life
Mell The Realist was born and raised in Chicago IL, (Humboldt Park). Born May 6, 88. Puerto Rican 34 year old female. Both parents Puerto Rican. Mell grew up in a domestic violence home setting with her stepfather and unfortunately Was a victim of child abuse and molestation. Mell got pregnant with her first child at the age of 17 and dropped out of high school. She was able to get her GED 4 months later and was the youngest in her college class as a medical assistant. Mell had to put her passion for music to the side and became a parent in her teenage years.
Mell is now proving to her boys that you can accomplish anything in life. With Jesus everything is possible. Many people need a voice, need a reminder, need that push that they can succeed, that they can, and will get through that storm, a reminder that they are never alone! Mell is bringing authenticity in the christian rap community by bringing a unique sound and showing that she is unashamed to be herself. "Jesus Made us all different and unique for a reason".

Jonah, "This album is motivating, and inspiring" said a fan when giving feed back. The album Jonah shows you that with God you can conquer anything, with God you can get healed, with God those chains will break, that mountain will move when you command it to move! It encourages you to leave all the burdens and stress at his feet, you will see his work and how much peace you  will have. It reminds you that God loves you and accepts you even when you feel like you have messed up a million times. Jonah is now available in all streaming platforms.
